In terms of fundamental motion physics as determined by motion law we are not concerned with how in fact the energy imparted to the Aircraft's Air Mass Motion System is in fact achieved.
Point: An Aircraft as a motion vehicle cannot distinguish between a unit of thrust delivered to it via it's thrust bolts whether delivered by pure, bypass, variable cycle, ram jet, scram jet or rocket.
