12. The Boeing 747 Aircraft
One of the most successful commercial Aircraft in the world today is the Boeing 747 therefore, in terms of knowledge, expertise, and understanding of all matters pertaining to the efficient design, manufacture and operation of Jet Powered Aircraft, we may use this very successful Aircraft with some very sound technological justification as the yardstick of aerodynamic excellence by which can be judged the aerodynamic and commercial performance of other long range commercial Aircraft. For this purpose, let us award the Boeing 747 an Excellence Rating of 1.
